How to Eliminate Moisture Inside Electrical Cabinets

Cabinet dryers can help prevent electrical moisture damage that can cause downtime and safety problems.

A wet environment in manufacturing facilities can create moisture inside equipment such as electrical cabinets, control panels and motor compartments. Internal moisture can negatively affect plant efficiency, product quality and plant safety. For example, condensation inside an electrical cabinet can damage electrical connections, leading to significant downtime and costly repairs. In food processing plants, enclosures are vulnerable to electrical moisture damage and to mold and bacterial growth, which, in turn, can lead to safety and regulatory problems.
