2014 02 19 019The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E: Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace® has evolved into one of the most widely referenced documents related to working safely around electrical energy. In its ninth edition since it was first published in 1979, this electrical safety standard includes many changes and additions that significantly influence worker safety and employer responsibilities. Considerable amounts of new safety research, new safety technology and technical reviews and input provided a strong foundation for the innovative and improved requirements addressing the electrical hazards faced by employees.
